Gruff sea captain who commands the Everlast, a mystical ship crewed by the Gray Men. Allen serves as the primary contact between the Fellowship and the Gray Men faction, providing crucial transportation during their escape from Blackwharf.
Session 2 Role
Transportation Provider: Captain Allen and his crew transported the Fellowship from the fallen City of Bells to the Kovat settlement via complex river systems. The journey revealed both his capabilities and the disturbing nature of his crew.
Diplomatic Challenge: Mortimer attempted to negotiate with Captain Allen regarding the crew's cannibalistic practices, showing diplomatic initiative despite the captain's uncomfortable secrets about his crew's dietary habits.
The Gray Men Connection
Captain Allen leads a crew of Gray Men sailors who practice ritualistic cannibalism and maintain mystical ship-moving abilities. Despite their disturbing practices, they serve as allies to Nyx, having connections to his past when he defected from The Entropy Shepherd's service.
Homeland Connections: During the voyage, Captain Allen displayed a "lustful gaze toward homeland" and spoke a name in the Gray Men's native tongue with longing, hinting at deeper purposes for their destination and mysterious connections to the Gray Men stronghold.
Mystical Abilities
Captain Allen demonstrated supernatural maritime engineering capabilities during Session 2:
