Physical Description

Size: Two stories talla massive fire giant whose presence alone warms the entire valley around Hearthgate.

Appearance: Burning brightly with flame intensity that varies with emotional state. When freed from corruption, Shod wept molten lava tearsliteral rivers of emotion expressed through his fire giant physiology.

Environmental Impact: Shod's presence reversed the frost and cold in the Hearthgate valley, warming the entire region simply by existing there. His emotional state affects local temperature.

History

Hundreds of Years Ago: Shod joined what he thought was "a good cause" but was actually The Entropy Shepherd's corruption process beginning. The transformation started with ideological recruitmentShod believed he was doing something righteous.

Gradual Corruption: Over the course of a century or more, Shod gradually lost control over what he was and what he was doing. The corruption process was so slow that he didn't realize he was being transformed until it was too late.

Century as Void Titan: For at least a century, Shod existed as a Void Titanconsumptive creation replaced by pure nothingness, complete loss of self and agency. Where fire giants normally burn with ecstatic consumption, Shod became walking entropy.

Liberation (Session 4)

Two-Stage Rescue:

1. Ale-ore and Kurg's Boom-Stick disrupted the void corruption, revealing Shod's fire giant shoulder beneath the nothingness
2. Nyx's memory spell completed the restoration, weaponizing their past connection and shared knowledge to forcefully reimpose Shod's identity
